Software which the MCP-2A can open the data file.

The MCP-2A can retrieve memory channel frequencies by opening ([File]

[Open]) data files which are created by the following KENWOOD Memory Control Programs.

Notes

The MCP-2A can neither read data from nor write data to the above transceivers directly.

DTMF memory or other menu data is not retrieved from above data files to the MCP-2A.
(The MCP-2A retrieves only memory channel frequency data)

Since the TM-V71A/E's Memory Name display is 6-digits/13-segments, there are the following limitations when reading data from above models to the TM-V71A/E.

	Memory name which contains some special characters such as "#" may not be retrieved to the MCP-2A.
	Small letters in memory name are converted to capital letters by the MCP-2A.
	Characters in memory name exceeding 6-digits may not appear on the TM-V71A/E's display.

In case of the TM-D710A/E which memory name display is 8-digits/dot-matrix, memory name will be retrieved and displayed without above limitations.
