The All-mode Multi-bander TS-2000 series firmware has been updated as follows. We are offering the firmware updating program to the TS-2000 series owners.

Updated item : (Version 1.11 1.12) [July 28, 2015]

Revises the following symptom.

1.	When using a single lever paddle, the internal electronic keyer occasionally generates extra dots or dashes.

Applicable models/units :

The firmware updating program is applicable for following models/units.

Models: TS-2000 K/E/E2, TS-B2000 K/E/E2, TS-2000X K/E

Serial numbers: From S/NO.208xxxxx through S/NO.B58xxxxx approx.

Notes	:	You can find the serial number imprinted on the rear panel, just below the ANT1 or ANT2 connector; it consists of an 8-digit number beginning with "S/NO."
	:	You can check the firmware version of your TS-2000(X)/B2000 by following procedure. How to check the firmware version.

Notes:

	This software is designed to run on the above operating systems.
	This software also runs on Windows^® 10 and Windows^® 11. (Noted on June 23, 2022)
	Applicable operating systems are subject to change without notice due to the end of the technical support by Microsoft Corporation or change of the product specifications.

Processor

Faster than the recommended CPU for each OS.

System Memory (RAM)

Larger than the recommended System Memory for each OS.

Free Hard Drive Space

1 MB or more of free hard drive space.

Peripheral Devices

	A display with resolutions higher than XGA (1024 x 768).
	A keyboard and a mouse, or other pointing devices.
	An RS-232C interface.(Corresponding to COM1 to COM20).
	An RS-232C straight cable (D-SUB 9-pin female for the transceiver's COM port).

Usage Notes

	Users are required to obtain a license from JVC KENWOOD Corporation, in writing, prior to redistributing this software on a personal web page or packet radio.
	Users may not revise, change, translate, merge, de-compile, or reverse engineer the software.
	The quality and performance of the software is not warranted for the applicability of any users. JVC KENWOOD Corporation shall not assume liability for any defects, nor warrant anything other than is expressly provided in the agreement. The selection and introduction of the products as well as the results there from shall be upon the liability of the users.
	JVC KENWOOD Corporation shall own all copyrights and other intellectual properties for the software and all manuals and documents attached to the software. The user shall be allowed to use, not to resell, the software by obtaining a license from JVC KENWOOD Corporation. While the media in which the software is stored is possessed by the user, the ownership for the software itself shall be reserved for JVC KENWOOD Corporation.
	This firmware updating program cannot read and write user data (menu items, memory channels). We are offering the Memory Control Program MCP-2000 for this purpose.
	When installing, running and uninstalling this program, you must have administrative privileges.
	The downloaded program is only available for owners of the TS-2000/TS-2000X/TS-B2000. Even if the program is downloaded, it cannot be used by owners of the Japanese models TS-2000S/SX/TS-2000V/VX.

Installation :

1.	Extract the downloaded file "TS2K_112.zip" into a designated folder. In the designated folder, a folder labeled "TS2K_112" will be created.
2.	Execute the Setup.exe file within the folder to begin installation.
3.	Once installation begins, follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.

Updating:

Uninstalling :

Select "TS-2000 Update" in "Uninstall a program" in the Control Panel and follow the instructions that appear on the display to uninstall the software.
