The TH-D75A/E firmware has been updated from Version 1.02 to Version 1.03 as follows.
We are offering the firmware updating program to the TH-D75A/E owners.
You can update the firmware by connecting the TH-D75A/E to the PC by using a USB cable (USB Type-C). |

| About virtual COM port driver for the TH-D75 |
A virtual COM port driver needs to be installed onto the PC to use the firmware updating program.
ATTENTION:Do not connect the transceiver to a PC before installing the virtual COM port driver. |

The following features are updated. |

| 1. |
Improved the accuracy of the battery level indicator. |
| 2. |
Enables setting "Gateway CQ" as a destination option in D-STAR Reflector Terminal mode, similar to DR mode, for specific gateway applications (not used for standard reflector connections). |

The following symptoms are revised. |
| |
| |
| 1. |
When editing the D-STAR Callsign list, a “/” (slash) cannot be set at the beginning of a callsign to designate the gateway connection repeater. |
| 2. |
The callsign of the D-STAR APRS Sentence may not be sent out correctly under certain conditions. |
| 3. |
When power is turned off in DR mode, the reverse status is incorrectly backed up. |
| 4. |
If the Hotspot List is not set (default), selecting "Edit" or "Clear" will result in a reboot. |

The firmware version appears in the LCD display. |

| Attention |

Before updating the firmware, it is recommended to back up the transceiver's Memory channels, Menu settings, Callsign list, and other configuration data using the Memory Control Program MCP-D75 or the export function to a microSD card (Menu No.800 or Menu No.801). |

| Installing |
| 1. |
Extract the downloaded file "TH-D75_V103E.zip" into a designated folder.
In the designated folder, a folder labeled "TH-D75_V103E" will be created. |
| 2. |
In the folder labeled "TH-D75_V103", the firmware updating program "TH-D75_V103_e.exe" and "TH-D75_e.chm" are automatically created. |

| Updating |
| 1. |
Start the program by double-clicking "TH-D75_V103_e.exe" icon. |
| 2. |
Connect the transceiver's USB port to your PC's USB port using a USB (Type-C) cable, and select the COM port you will use by following the Help file. |
| 3. |
Proceed firmware updating by following the explanations in the dialog boxes. |

| Uninstalling |
| Delete the folder labeled "TH-D75_V103E" manually using the Explorer or an alternative method. |
| |
| Downloading |
|
Only if you agree to the following "Usage Notes", click "Agree" and download the software.
(If you do not agree, you will not be able to download the software.) |
