This software is an application solely for the use of controlling the TS-480. |

This software can be used on a PC for controlling the TS-480. |

This software can be used to edit, save, and export to the TS-480 information such as Memory, Menu, and Auto Mode frequencies. |

This software can be used with the KENWOOD NETWORK COMMAND SYSTEM for remote operation of the TS-480. |

8MB or more of free hard drive space. |

A display with at least 800 x 600 resolution. |

A keyboard and a mouse, or other pointing device. |

RS-232C interface. |

An RS-232C straight cable with a 9-pin D-SUB female connector for the transceiver's COM port.
(When the PC has no RS-232C port, then use a USB-to-serial adapter.) |

Usage Notes |

If you are remotely controlling the Transceiver using this software via a network such as the Internet, you must conform to the radio laws and relevant domestic laws of the country and/or area where the Transceiver and relevant equipment are installed. |

If any problem occurs while you are remotely controlling the Transceiver and relevant equipment, the responsibility of finding a solution to the problem is left solely to the user who remotely control the Transceiver and relevant equipment. |

Users are prohibited to assign, rent, lease, redistribute, or resell the software. |

Users are prohibited to revise, change, translate, merge, de-compile, or reverse engineer the software. |

Installing the ARCP-480 |
1. |
Extract the downloaded file "ARCP480_110.zip" into a designated folder.
In the designated folder, a folder labeled "ARCP480_110" will be created.
Execute the "Setup.exe" in the folder labeled "ARCP480_110", and follow the instructions that appear on the display to install ARCP-480.
Note:

Administrator privileges are required when installing the software. |

2. |
When the window to select the help language is displayed, select the desired help language (English or Japanese).
Note:
|
To change the help language after you have installed the application, reinstall the application from the beginning. |
|

Uninstalling the ARCP-480 |
1. |
Select "ARCP-480" in "Uninstall a program" in the Control Panel and follow the instructions that appear on the display to uninstall the software. Or double-click "Setup.exe", and follow the instructions that appear on the display to uninstall the software.
Note:
|
Administrative privileges are required to uninstall the software. |
|
Always exit ARCP-480 before uninstalling the software. |
|
