KENWOOD provides communication equipments
as part of hurricane relief effort for the southern U.S. seaboard

The KENWOOD Group has pledged to provide 10 million yen worth of wireless radio equipments to support and assist in the reconstruction of the devastated southeastern United States seaboard areas created by Hurricane Katrina.

Details of KENWOOD's support
We hope wireless radio equipments (both for business and amateur use), which do not rely on commercial power utilities will help to maintain and recover some part of the destructed communication lifelines. Donation will head to the American Red Cross, State Emergency Managers, County Emergency Managers, City Emergency Managers (via American Radio Relay League) for the State of Louisiana as well as Tennessee, and State of the Tennessee Evacuation Shelters.
