Announcement of Organizational and Personnel Changes Effective June 1, 2005
KENWOOD Corporation (President & CEO: Haruo Kawahara; Head Office: Hachioji, Tokyo) is pleased to announce the implementation of the following organizational and personnel changes effective June 1, 2005.

Principal Organizational Changes |
KENWOOD Americas Headquarters Preparatory Office was established as of November 15, 2004, and was reestablished as the KENWOOD Americas Headquarters that will gain overall control of KENWOOD U.S.A. as of June 1, 2005.
This integrates the management of the three sales companies of US, Canada and Latin America into one, aiming to reinforce as well as expand KENWOOD's business in the Americas. With this corporate organizational change, KENWOOD's operational management structure for the Americas, Europe and Asia reaches its fully implemented state.
Additionally, the wireless business transferred from Toyo Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. was fused with KENWOOD's extant wireless radio business. The TY Project under the Communications Equipment Division was dissolved for organizational unification and the new business title of PS Management was created in order to enhance activities toward profit and loss management and the goal accomplishment of the profit and loss plan.
