Announcement of Organizational and Personnel Changes Effective August 1, 2005
KENWOOD Corporation (President & CEO: Haruo Kawahara; Head Office: Hachioji, Tokyo) is pleased to announce the implementation of the following organizational and personnel changes effective August 1, 2005.

Principal Organizational Changes |
In regard with our second mid-term business plan, the "Value Creation Plan," the Company has newly established a "Business Accounting Department" (Level 2 Unit) under the Financial & Accounting Division in order to improve steady revenue generating bases and to reform corporate profit structures. With this, the Company's business management functions now dispersed in individual business divisions will be integrated and business management operations such as business planning, account closing per business, cost management, and management of affiliates will be reinforced and accelerated.
In addition, current Business Control & Administration Departments within each business divisions as well as the Financial Planning Office under the Financial & Accounting Division will be progressively dissolved.
