Announcement of Organizational and Personnel
Changes Effective January 1, 2006 |

KENWOOD Corporation (President and CEO: Haruo Kawahara; Head Office: Hachioji,
Tokyo) will implement the following organizational and personnel changes effective
January 1, 2006. |

1.Purpose of Organizational and Personnel Changes Effective
January 1, 2006 |
The organization of the Consumer Business Development Center will undergo
restructuring in order to strengthen the approach on new development themes as
well as ones related to several different business divisions and to promptly
comply with rapidly compounding and innovating technologies in the consumer electronics
field, and to improve the entire company’s development efficiency.
Moreover, the Value Creation Division (VCD) under the Consumer Business Development
Center will be progressively dissolved in conjunction with this, and its role
will be transferred to the newly established Consumer Electronics Development
Department. |

2.Principle Organizational Changes |

(1) |
The Advanced Development Department, Device Development Department and Consumer
Electronics Development Department will come under the Consumer Business Development
Center (Level 1 unit). |
|

Advanced Development Department (Level 2 unit)
It will engage in the promotion of developing telecommunication-related technologies
focusing on the development of next generation element technologies. |
|
Device Development Department (Level 2 unit)
It will engage in the design development and mass-production support of optical
devices such as optical pickups and optical microphones. |
|
Consumer Electronics Development Department (Level 2 unit)
It will engage in joint development activities with various individual business
divisions for the development of upcoming precedent products/technologies close
to market release. |

Through the review of our e-business related organizational
structure, the E-Business Management Project will be newly established in order
to correspond to progress of digital/network technologies and its associated
change of market. |
