KENWOOD Corporation and EADS Secure Networks North America
Form Alliance to Offer P25 Systems |

(Las Vegas, NV - March 27, 2007) EADS Secure Networks North America (Arlington, VA) a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS North America, and KENWOOD Corporation (Tokyo) announced an alliance to offer EADS Secure Networks North America (ESN NA) IP-based P25 infrastructure and KENWOOD public safety P25 subscriber units in turn-key systems solutions for public safety users. The alliance will make new, scalable, P25 systems technology with KENWOOD subscriber radios and EADS Secure Networks North America (ESN NA) infrastructure available to state and local public safety agencies including police, fire, emergency medical service, and disaster management.
Under this program, KENWOOD Corporation will provide P25 mobile and portable subscriber units as required to EADS Secure Networks North America (ESN NA) as a component of their public safety turnkey P25 systems solutions; EADS Secure Networks North America (ESN NA) will provide IP-based infrastructure as required to KENWOOD Corporation as a component of their turn-key P25 systems solutions business. |
