Donation of KENWOOD Radio Communication Equipment for China Qinghai Earthquake Rescue Operations

JVC KENWOOD Holdings announces that KENWOOD Corporation, a JVC KENWOOD Group operating company, has donated land mobile radio equipment to be used in rescue and reconstruction operations in the disaster area of Qinghai Province, China, which was devastated by an earthquake on April 14th.

Following damage to transportation and telecommunication infrastructure caused by the earthquake in the disaster area, KENWOOD donated radio communication equipments (KENWOOD land mobile radio equipments), which enable telecommunication without relying on public infrastructure, to Yushu County Civil Affairs Bureau & Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, and the County Urban Construction Bureau.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the earthquake victims and pray for the quickest possible reconstruction of the earthquake-hit area.
